These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the iro mobile application ("iro," the "App"), operated by DOMU Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, opening, or using iro, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use iro.
iro is a free daily color game with three challenges: match, remember, and compose. A new set of challenges is released each day at 00:00 UTC. We may change, add, or remove features from time to time.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use iro. By using iro, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly permit use by anyone younger — see our Privacy Policy for more.
When you open iro, we create an anonymous account for you. You may optionally link a Google or Apple account to recover your progress on another device. You are responsible for any activity under your account and for keeping your recovery code, Google login, or Apple login secure. If you suspect unauthorized use, please contact us at hello@domu.one.
You may delete your account at any time from the profile screen. Deletion is final and removes your palettes, scores, username, and linked identifiers within 30 days.
iro lets you submit color palettes, set a username, and otherwise contribute content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant DOMU Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it within iro — for example, showing your palette in the daily Gallery or your username on the leaderboard. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except that we may retain aggregated or anonymized data.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and confirm that you have the right to submit it. Do not submit anything that:
We may remove any User Content or account, at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe it violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful.
You agree not to:
iro itself — the code, design, trademarks, and overall look and feel — is owned by DOMU Inc. and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use iro for personal, non-commercial enjoyment under these Terms; no other rights are granted.
iro uses Google Firebase for backend infrastructure and Google Vertex AI for generating the daily compose prompt. Your use of iro is also subject to the terms of these services where applicable. See our Privacy Policy for details on how these services handle data.
iro is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that iro will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DOMU Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of iro, including loss of data or content. Our total liability for any claim relating to iro will not exceed the greater of (a) $10 USD or (b) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to iro at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason in our sole discretion. You may stop using iro at any time by deleting your account.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects when this page was last revised. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Continued use of iro after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute relating to iro will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless applicable law in your jurisdiction prohibits this requirement, in which case disputes will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction.
